Rensville is my HO scale American switching layout.

It is set in North Carolina, the time frame is 90’s to present day.

The line serves five industries, these are set five miles from the main CSX yard at Hamlett.

Hamlett yard is a real location, Rensville is fictitious.

The industries are a scrap/fabrication company, grain terminal, LPG supplier, wholesale warehouse and a transport company.

The scenic area is 8′ x 19″ with a staging area 6′ x 6″ giving a total length of 14′.

The layout is DCC operated using an NCE Powercab.

Locomotives and stock come from Atlas, Athearn, Intermountain and Exactrail.

Most of the locos are sound fitted, along with some freight stock also fitted with sound.
