Grimley Moor is a fictional town located in Greater Manchester within the foothills of the Peak District.
A run down town with not a lot going for it. Dominated by the large blocks of flats and large waste recycling centre, the town has an unpleasent smell and feel to it.
The crime rates are almost as high as uneployment, in fact, several crimes are probably happening right now!
The town is served by Northern Rail services to Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street via Manchester Victoria. Services are mostly formed by Class 142’s, 150’s, 156’s and Class 319’s.
Due to the waste recyling centre, a once daily freightservice makes its way to the town. A handful of engineering trains also pass through, as well as the occasional divert TPE service and Network Rail test trains.
